• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focusing on solution-based practices that promote resilience and coping skills.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support services.
• Educate and empower patients and their families regarding mental health issues, resources, and community support systems.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health care to continuously improve clinical practices.

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population of students ranging from elementary through high school, each with unique backgrounds and mental health needs. Your work will directly impact students experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges, equipping them with coping mechanisms and essential life skills necessary for academic achievement and emotional well-being.

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly solution-focused interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to engage with students and families effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably within a school or educational setting.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in managing mental health disorders.
• Familiarity with online therapeutic tools and software to facilitate virtual sessions and record keeping.
