• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments during video-based teletherapy sessions, gathering essential patient data including health history and mental status evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized behavioral health treatment plans aligned with industry standards and best practices, ensuring evidence-based therapeutic support is provided to each patient.
• Maintain accurate records of sensitive patient information, including examination results and medical histories, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize electronic clinical systems effectively to document patient interactions, update treatment plans, and monitor progress through various communication channels.
• Engage in collaborative planning with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery.

The Remote Mental Health Counselor will provide care to a diverse population encompassing various age groups, mental health conditions, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our patients seek support for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex psychiatric evaluations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing the unique challenges each patient faces while delivering culturally competent care, particularly for those in underserved areas.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory; a Master’s degree or Doctorate in these disciplines is preferred.
• Possession of a current and valid state license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is essential for practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous learning, with a proactive approach to staying informed about evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable, enhancing our capability to serve a broader patient demographic.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within a telehealth context.
