As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Carilion Therapeutic Clinic, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans for adult clients.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic methodologies.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of therapy sessions, adhering to compliance requirements.
• Engage with clients through video conferencing tools, ensuring a secure and private therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive network of other mental health professionals for resource sharing and best practices.
• Manage administrative responsibilities related to client scheduling, follow-ups, and treatment documentation.

Your primary focus will be on adult clients facing a myriad of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. Our client demographic is diverse, comprising individuals from various backgrounds and experiences seeking support in their mental health journeys.

• A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy from a regionally accredited institution.
• An active professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) that allows for clinical practice in Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical therapy to adults.
• Demonstrated training and expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
• Exceptional writing skills for effective session documentation and adherence to compliance standards.
• A clean professional record, free of any disciplinary actions by licensing boards in any jurisdiction.

• Experience with diverse populations or specialized issues such as trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Skills in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
