Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly evidence-based therapy sessions with adults experiencing emotional disorders, utilizing live video technology to create an engaging therapeutic space.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers at Brightside to establish comprehensive care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

• Utilize automated self-assessment tools to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation using our user-friendly counselor portal to facilitate efficient communication and care delivery.

• Participate in regular consultations with the Therapy Leadership Team for support and case discussions, enabling continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• A current and valid License for Professional Counseling (LPC) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years post-graduate experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

Preferred Experience

Experience in delivering Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and familiarity with the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS) framework is preferable. Ideal candidates will have a track record of working with high-risk populations and a strong foundation in treating various mental health conditions.
