What is a Remote Upward Bound program?

A Remote Upward Bound program is an educational initiative that provides academic support and college preparation services to high school students from low-income families or those who would be first-generation college students, all delivered online. These programs typically offer tutoring, mentoring, counseling, and virtual workshops to help students succeed in high school and prepare for college admission. By operating remotely, they make these resources accessible to students regardless of their geographic location, eliminating barriers related to travel or transportation.
