Georgia IT, Inc. is a company seeking a Build Engineer for a 100% remote position. The role involves managing automated build tools, system administration, and improving continuous integration and deployment workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Experienced with following tools / technologies
• Automated build tools – Bamboo or Jenkins
• Maven/Ant Scripting
• Linux / Windows System administration
• Experienced in UNIX shell, Perl, or similar scripting languages
• Atlassian Tools Administration i.e. Jira/Jama/Confluence/FishEye
• Source Control System – SVN or CVS
• WebSphere & MQ Administration
• Foundation level knowledge on Elixir, Web Methods, Layer7
• Exposure to Java Web Services and SoapUI
• Basic Knowledge of databases
• Knowledge on batch jobs / OpCon
• Flexible to work after oce hours, weekends and on public holidays
• Good written / verbal communication skills
• Able to coordinate with multiple teams
• Experienced in defining, implementing or improving continuous integration and deployment workflow processes
• Experienced with branching and merge strategies
• Must be self-driven and a team player with a solid work ethic
• Strong analytical & trouble shooting skills required
