About the Role

The Partnership Manager acts as a vital catalyst for operational excellence within the University Partnerships (UP) department. This role is task-focused, dedicated to the seamless execution of University Partnership events, asset creation, and logistical management. This position is responsible for the moving parts that keep USP initiatives running smoothly, ensuring all materials and event logistics are executed flawlessly.

In close coordination with the Enrollment team, you will coordinate project plans, timelines, and deliverables that support partner launches, ongoing partner engagement, and other University Partnership strategic initiatives. This role ensures projects and events stay on track, resources are organized, and partners receive consistent, high-quality experiences through thoughtful execution and proactive coordination. As an operational subject matter expert, you will maintain the "source of truth" for critical institutional data, proactively identifying and untangling system inconsistencies to ensure absolute data integrity.

What Youll Be Doing

Operations Support and Data Management

  • Partner Portal Operations Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of partner-facing data by proactively validating, auditing and resolving discrepancies before publication.
  • Partner Data Share: Responsible for working with the Technology Team and Account Managers to ensure accurate upload of prospective student data provided by partners into Salesforce and communicating data uploads with key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • New Partner Onboarding & Ongoing Support: Proactively prepare partner documentation, Verto and partner-specific data, and any other logistical or project management needs to support successful onboarding and the ongoing success of existing partner relationships..
  • Partner Offboarding: Oversee partner offboarding activities, ensuring all operational, contractual, and administrative tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Miscellaneous Operational Projects: Including but not limited to originating internal and external presentation decks, creation of year-over-year comparison datasets using various data from internal and external sources, support of partner-facing communications and other specialized mailings (e.g., partner newsletters, operational communications, partner gifts).

Event Management

  • Partner Engagement Operations: Support logistics of partner-facing meetings (in-person and virtual), including meeting coordination and preparation, and customize presentation materials in collaboration with the Verto Marketing department and Account Managers across Channel and Direct Transfer teams, utilizing Salesforce data and other partner-specific information (e.g., previous years outcomes by partner program).
  • Ensure partner-facing presentations are accurate, on brand and delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Communicate with partners on attendance, expectations, timelines and deliverables, including post-program sharing of outcomes, and attendance with partners.
  • De-duplication of event attendance
  • Serve as technical resource for virtual event platform
  • Additional support for events and presentations as needed throughout the cycle to support the Channel and Direct Transfer partnerships.

What Were Looking For

Must-have:

  • Ability to work remotely full time.
  • Must be based in the US, and work on a time zone 1 hour +/- those in the continental US. (Example: GMT -8 through GMT -3).
  • Expected to work some nights and weekends (approx 2 times a month).
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience in some combination of higher education, partnerships, operations, business development, or account management-related roles.
  • Proficiency in productivity and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Slate), including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (e.g., Asana)
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, including experience identifying and resolving administrative and day-to-day problems, prioritizing, and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to provide verbal and written information, with clear instructions as to the processes.
  • Strong event and project management skills.
  • Ability to analytically review complex data; identify points of misalignment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Hands-on experience working with Slate and university database systems.
  • Masters degree in Business, Operations, Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups, EdTech, or scaling international organizations.

Compensation

At Verto, base salary is one part of your total compensation package. Final base pay will depend on your location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000k USD
