We are supporting a game-changing software development approach in support of the United States Air Force (USAF) and the Department of War (DoW) through the development and support of software applications and associated cloud-based infrastructures. Our team is looking for an experienced individual with a broad background in full-stack web application development. We are looking for someone who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, agile environment. In this position, you will be a member of a highly collaborative, multi-contractor support team.

We prefer that you reside in Colorado Springs, CO or San Antonio, TX although remote work will be considered for strong candidates with a demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of technical experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • Experience with web application development frameworks (React, Angular JS, Vue JS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with API development and implementation.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Golang, Python, Java, C#)
  • Experience with database development (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Experience developing within an Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software development, Scaled Agile Framework, etc.)
  • Experience with Git Ops and version control software (Git)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment and possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to DoW contract requirements.
  • Ability to pass a security background check.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with collaboration tools (Mattermost, Slack, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with Platform One or other DoW Software Factories.
  • Experience with application deployment in Docker Containers.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include services such as VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management tools (Keycloak, Appgate, Okta, etc.)
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Script Runner, etc.)
