• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing a variety of clinical tools and methodologies.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches that promote recovery and personal growth.
• Design and implement client-centered service plans designed to meet specific goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the clients’ personal values and cultural backgrounds.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to community resources, working actively on social justice issues to empower underserved populations.
• Engage collaboratively with community organizations, service providers, and volunteers to enhance the overall quality of care and resource availability for clients.
• Contribute to ongoing program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to help secure funding and ensure the longevity of our services.
• Participate in regular team meetings, professional training, and community outreach initiatives to promote awareness and engagement.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing significant challenges such as mental health issues, grief, trauma, and socio-economic difficulties. Our client base often includes marginalized groups requiring specialized support and advocacy. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental well-being and enhancing their ability to navigate life challenges.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care practices and social justice frameworks.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple case files and documentation efficiently.

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization, particularly in mental health and community development settings.
• Familiarity with community resources, local government services, and advocacy strategies.
• Demonstrated success in program development and evaluation.
