Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds, needs, and trauma history, aiding in the formulation of effective treatment plans.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process trauma, foster personal growth, and develop coping mechanisms.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to each patient's care.

  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients have access to necessary resources.

  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them to participate actively in their recovery process.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus
