Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Mood Dynamics, you will:

  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and identify suitable treatment strategies.
  • Design and execute individualized treatment plans that aim to foster recovery and resilience in clients dealing with trauma.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's needs.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and embark on their healing journey.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patientโ€™s wellbeing.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies pertinent to trauma.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to assist in the healing process.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards for patient care.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
