Work Environment

This position is uniquely structured to support work-life balance, with a remote work opportunity that allows therapists to effectively manage their personal and professional lives. Our team operates during conventional business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the frequency, severity, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' daily lives, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews.
  • Create tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their individual goals, preferences, and the best evidence-based practices available.
  • Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing and overcoming mood-related challenges.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatments, and effective self-care strategies, fostering a supportive environment for discussion and growth.
  • Continuously assess and track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and documented outcomes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals, ensuring integrated care through regular consultations and case discussions.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards of practice.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings to further professional development and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
  • Experience with evidence-based therapy techniques, particularly in treating mood disorders through modalities such as CBT and DBT.
  • A strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, showcasing an understanding of psychopharmacology related to mood disorders.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes with various patient populations.
