SharePoint Developer

Position Summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a SharePoint Developer to support the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) by developing, maintaining, and enhancing SharePoint Online environments, collaboration platforms, content management solutions, and business applications within the DoD365 environment. This position supports enterprise modernization initiatives, migration efforts, governance activities, and application development to improve operational efficiency and user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, maintain, and support SharePoint Online sites, hub sites, site collections, lists, libraries, forms, workflows, and collaboration solutions.

• Support intranet and extranet environments, enterprise content management, and document management capabilities.

• Integrate SharePoint solutions with Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, SQL databases, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications.

• Configure and manage permissions, metadata, retention policies, content structures, and governance controls.

• Support migration of applications, web pages, workflows, and content from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.

• Develop enhancements that improve usability, accessibility, performance, and operational efficiency.

• Assist with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and user acceptance activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint applications, workflows, permissions, and integrations.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.

• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and release management.

• Support implementation of SharePoint governance policies, standards, and best practices.

• Ensure solutions comply with applicable cybersecurity requirements, including RMF controls, STIG requirements, Section 508 standards, and DoD policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of degree.

• 2–4 years of SharePoint development experience.

• Experience with:

  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft 365 / DoD365
  • SharePoint site administration and content management
  • SharePoint lists, libraries, forms, and workflows
  • Microsoft Teams collaboration solutions

• Experience supporting SharePoint migrations, enhancements, or modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with SharePoint governance, permissions management, and information architecture.

• Knowledge of SharePoint security, compliance, and governance principles.

• Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Federal or DoD experience preferred.

• Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.

• Power Platform integrations

• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
