Remote Trademark Legal Assistant
We are a fast-growing law firm specializing in business and intellectual property law. We are looking for a virtual full-time trademark legal assistant. The Virtual Trademark Legal Assistant provides administrative support to trademark lawyers and trademark specialists who handle intellectual property and trademark-related matters. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
The Virtual Trademark Legal Assistant works remotely and is responsible for managing multiple tasks and deadlines while collaborating with other members of the legal team.

Responsibilities
• Conduct trademark searches and assist with trademark clearance and registration applications
• Draft and file trademark-related documents and correspondence
• Monitor and maintain trademark portfolios, including renewals, assignments, and records
• Enter, manage, and follow up diligently with lawyers and specialists regarding the docket and deadlines
• Communicate with clients and government agencies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and deadlines
• Assist with the preparation of legal opinions and briefs related to trademark matters
• Manage electronic and physical files, including organizing and indexing documents and data
• Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and managing emails
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising attorney
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior experience in a legal assistant or administrative role required; experience in trademark law preferred
• Familiarity with trademark laws and regulations, and trademark databases such as the USPTO's Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) and the WIPO Global Brand Database
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
