Job description

The Opportunity: Build, Don't Just Work

This is a true ground-floor opportunity to disrupt a legacy industry. There is no corporate safety net, no training manual, and no "that's not my job" in our vocabulary.

We are looking for a Title Processor who is ready to step out of the slow corporate machine. If you have the experience to operate independently, the hunger to outwork the competition, and the ambition to define what modern title operations look like, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

  • Own the File from Day One: Manage title orders from intake through commitment—running searches, clearing exceptions, and ensuring every file moving to the closing table is bulletproof.
  • Embrace the Startup Grind: We operate with zero ego. The CEO pulls searches, and everyone handles the granular work. You will dig into the overlooked details and stay on county recorders until you get what you need.
  • Build the Blueprint: As an early hire, you will design, document, and scale the workflows built to handle high-volume investor demands.
  • Master Investor Transactions: Process complex investor files (wholesalers, fix-and-flip, double closings, assignments, and 1031 exchanges) with speed and absolute accuracy.
  • Drive Communication: Interface directly with clients, agents, attorneys, and underwriters. You are the relentless project manager who keeps the chain moving.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven Processing Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on title processing experience, ideally with heavy exposure to investor transactions.
  • An Obsessive Standard: You automatically re-check legal descriptions, notice minor date discrepancies, and refuse to clear a file until it is truly ready.
  • Startup Wiring: You thrive in ambiguity, easily pivot when priorities shift, and are motivated by building a process from scratch.
  • Grit & Autonomy: You solve problems independently, skip unnecessary escalations, and push files forward with genuine urgency.
  • Geographic Fluency: Deep familiarity with the recording requirements and compliance landscapes of Missouri, Indiana, or Michigan.

Who Thrives Here

  • Builders thrive. People who want their fingerprints on the company's foundation and get energized by solving hard problems.
  • Lane-followers do not thrive. If you require a predictable, highly structured corporate environment, this is not the right fit.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: Competitive pay and full health coverage
  • Impact & Growth: Direct path to senior processing and operational leadership roles as we scale nationally.
  • Flexibility: Remote-friendly for candidates based in our licensed markets (MO, IN, MI).
