Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging virtual therapy sessions, utilizing advanced videoconferencing tools to assess and treat clients effectively.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, incorporating their goals and preferences.
• Use established therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and promote emotional resilience.
• Maintain meticulous records of client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in accordance with clinical best practices and legal requirements.
• Participate in regular supervision and case consultations to enhance therapeutic strategies and stay informed about contemporary issues in mental health.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending workshops and conferences to stay current in your field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Good Living Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of clients grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will employ culturally competent practices and adapt your approach to ensure all clients feel understood, respected, and engaged in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• Active and valid license to practice in Tennessee as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Solid foundation in clinical practices, reflected in at least 2 years of direct clinical experience providing therapy to individuals or groups.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy modalities.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or person-centered therapy.
• History of successfully working with a diverse client base and addressing a variety of mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
