Regional Sales Manager - Composites (Canada Territory)
Remote | Approximately 70-75% Travel

Our advanced composite reinforcement materials are used in aerospace, automotive, industrial, marine, infrastructure, sporting goods, and wind energy applications around the world.
We're looking for a driven, technically minded sales professional who enjoys solving complex customer challenges and building lasting partnerships. If you have experience in composites or industrial manufacturing and thrive in a consultative sales environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As our Regional Sales Manager, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada, acting as both a trusted advisor and technical resource. You'll identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and work closely with internal teams to deliver innovative composite solutions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers
  • Negotiate contracts, and commercial agreements
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, inventory requirements, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Production to ensure customer success
  • Educate customers on new products and product enhancements
  • Represent SAERTEX at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer activity, and market intelligence
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in the composites industry or industrial manufacturing
  • Must have textile experience
  • Proven experience in technical or consultative sales
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated success growing sales and increasing market share
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans and manage multiple customer accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in Composite Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally when needed
Travel
This is a fully remote position requiring approximately 70-75% travel, primarily throughout Canada with occasional travel within the United States. Candidates must also be available to travel to our corporate office in Huntersville, North Carolina, as business needs require.
