• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their mental health status and develop customized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy techniques to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges—from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, including session notes and client progress, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in collaborative care by referring clients to other healthcare professionals when necessary, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient treatment plans.
• Uphold strict confidentiality standards regarding patient information, ensuring a safe and trust-filled environment for clients.

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various age groups, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. You will encounter a range of mental health issues, requiring a sensitivity to cultural dynamics and the ability to adapt your therapeutic approaches. Our clients often seek support for anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, addiction, and family-related challenges, and you will play a crucial role in guiding them toward recovery and growth.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Professional Counselor, demonstrating your qualifications and commitment to ethical practice.
• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, showcasing your ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for meaningful engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools for teletherapy and electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

• Experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms, including familiarity with best practices for remote client engagement.
• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling may be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of community resources in the Scranton, PA area that can be leveraged for client support and referrals.

The compensation for the Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
