Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, considering factors such as severity, frequency, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing symptoms effectively.
• Offer educational resources and strategies to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mood disorders better and engage in self-care.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders, applying new findings to practice to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of therapies, assessments, and care plans in compliance with applicable ethical and legal standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to refine clinical skills.
• Advocate for client well-being, striving to de-stigmatize mental health issues and promote awareness about mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients primarily include individuals facing mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and related conditions. You will work with diverse populations, including adults from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, each requiring a tailored approach to treatment. Your role will involve not just therapeutic interventions but also instilling hope and resilience in those you serve.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology and the ability to liaise effectively with medical professionals.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving positive client outcomes in mental health treatment.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess experience in outpatient mental health settings, with specific training in mood disorder treatment methodologies. Previous work in telehealth environments will be an advantage, as you will need to efficiently utilize digital platforms for client interaction and collaboration. Additional experience in community outreach and advocacy will also be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
