Technical Program Manager (PXM Portfolio)

Diversified Services Network, Inc. Position Overview

This Technical Program Manager will sit at the center of a large-scale Product Experience Management (PXM) transformation effort, providing portfolio-level coordination, governance, planning, and visibility across all PXM initiatives. The role brings structure, visibility, and operational excellence to a growing portfolio of digital transformation initiatives spanning modern PIM/PXM platforms and cross-functional business programs.

This is a 100% remote position with occasional onsite work, based out of one of our Peoria, IL, Chicago, IL, Broomfield, CO or Dallas, TX facilities. The role partners closely with Engineering, Product Management, Digital Program Management (DPM), Brand teams, business stakeholders, and strategic implementation partners, and works directly with the Engineering Program Manager and Technical Product Owner in daily meetings to drive IT development projects. Success in this role directly impacts organizational alignment, delivery transparency, executive decision-making, and the successful execution of the broader PXM strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Planning & Governance

  • Partner with the Product Owner and Program Manager to manage agile project tracking, ensuring the project plan remains current and proactively identifying potential delivery risks.
  • Maintain the PXM portfolio tracker and integrated roadmap.
  • Track milestones, schedules, dependencies, and project status across all PXM workstreams.
  • Identify emerging risks, resource constraints, and delivery concerns.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Attend cross-functional virtual meetings to gather project steps, document dependencies, and build a comprehensive, integrated project plan.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DPM, Brand, and external partners to gather updates and align priorities.
  • Facilitate working sessions, status reviews, and dependency discussions across teams.
  • Ensure ownership and accountability are clearly defined for all tracked initiatives.

Executive Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare executive-level status reports and portfolio summaries.
  • Maintain risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID) logs.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and leadership-ready communications.

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Define and improve portfolio management processes, governance models, and reporting standards.
  • Establish repeatable methods for intake, triage, prioritization, and status tracking.

Tool & Data Management

  • Maintain project plans and reporting artifacts in Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and other portfolio management tools as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience required.
  • No degree required; High School Diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills (Required)

  • Technical Program or Project Management experience supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining integrated project plans, roadmaps, and milestone schedules.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for work tracking, reporting, and delivery visibility.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project for schedule management and dependency tracking.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for portfolio management and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-ready presentations and communications.
  • Experience maintaining risk, issue, dependency, and decision (RAID) logs.

Technical Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience supporting Digital, eCommerce, Product Information Management (PIM), Product Experience Management (PXM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), or Product Data initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Akeneo, Informatica P360, product content management, or related platforms.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
