Position: ERP Upgrade Program Manager / PMO Lead – NCR Retalix

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ERP Upgrade Program Manager / PMO Lead to lead the end-to-end NCR Retalix ERP upgrade program. The role will provide program governance, planning, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, risk management, and delivery oversight across technology and business workstreams.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale ERP upgrades or enterprise technology programs, preferably within retail, grocery, or multi-store environments, with the ability to work across business operations, IT, vendors, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall program governance, PMO processes, steering committee reporting, decision management, and executive communications.

Develop and manage integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, deliverables, and resource plans.

Coordinate across business operations, store operations, finance, merchandising, supply chain, IT, NCR/Retalix, system integrators, and third-party vendors.

Manage program-level RAID logs, risks, issues, dependencies, actions, decisions, and escalations.

Provide executive reporting through program dashboards, KPIs, status reports, milestone tracking, and program health assessments.

Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring commitments, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies remain on track.

Oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment readiness, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare activities.

Drive business readiness and change management, including communications, training coordination, process documentation, and stakeholder readiness.

Track program budget, forecasts, resource allocation, vendor spend, and overall financial performance.

Lead post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, PMO Leadership, ERP implementation, or enterprise technology transformation.

Proven experience leading large-scale ERP upgrades, implementations, migrations, or technology transformation programs.

Strong experience managing multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, vendors, and system integrators.

Experience with program governance, executive reporting, RAID management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk/issue management.

Strong understanding of the ERP implementation lifecycle, including testing, deployment, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

Experience overseeing

SIT, UAT, deployment readiness, and go-live activities.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NCR Retalix or related retail ERP / retail technology platforms.

Experience managing Retalix upgrades, implementations, migrations, or integrations.

Experience in retail, grocery, convenience, food & beverage, or multi-store environments.

Familiarity with POS, ERP, merchandising, inventory, supply chain, finance, and store systems.

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar PMO platforms.

PMP, PgMP, or other relevant program/project management certification is a plus.
