Job description

Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 100 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. Our business value and leadership have been recognized by various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner.
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Consulting team. In this role, you will lead the cross-functional delivery of key customer-facing retail capabilities-specifically driving our Loyalty & Rewards Program and Buy Quantity (Volume/Tiered Pricing & Promotions) platforms.
The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise in technical program governance, financial management, and Agile methodologies with a forward-thinking mindset-actively leveraging modern AI tools to maximize efficiency and program velocity.
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Program Ownership: Lead technical planning, architecture alignment, execution, and launch for customer-facing loyalty and quantity-based pricing/promotion capabilities.
  • Buy Quantity Engine: Program manage technical features related to volume discounts, "Buy X Get Y" logic, tiered quantity rules, and cart-level promotional bundling across the shopping journey.
  • Loyalty Platform Scaling: Drive the integration and performance of points generation, rewards ledger systems, tier transitions, personalized offers, and redemption at checkout.
  • Cross-System Integration: Map dependencies across Customer Accounts, Checkout/Cart Services, Pricing & Promotion Engines, CRM, and POS/Store systems.
  • Architecture & Scalability: Partner with Principal Engineers and Enterprise Architects to ensure systems can handle high-concurrency peak events (e.g., Black Friday, flash sales) with minimal latency.
  • API & Service Delivery: Oversee technical deliverables for microservices and APIs powering the customer UI, ensuring seamless data flow between front-end interfaces and back-end ledgers.
  • Product & Business Synergy: Work closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify technical bottlenecks, schedule risks, and integration blockers across multiple engineering squads; establish clear mitigation plans.
  • Data & Performance Tracking: Establish operational KPIs (e.g., checkout API latency, point redemption accuracy, cart evaluation throughput) and track post-launch system stability

Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a TPM, Technical Product Manager, or Engineering Lead in Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer Tech.
Domain Expertise: Solid technical understanding of Loyalty/Rewards ecosystems (points ledgers, member tiers, dynamic perks) and Promotions/Cart Engines (Buy Qty, bulk pricing, rules-based discounts).
Technical Depth: Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka).
Delivery Frameworks: Mastery of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Roadmunk).
Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical business partners and articulate business value to engineers.
Benefits
Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, fast-growing, challenging and entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of individual responsibility.
