Job description

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC) Program Manager. This is a home-based/remote position and candidates for this role must reside within the United States to be considered for this position.
What you'll do:
Position Overview:
The MTDC Program Manager is the single-threaded leader responsible for overall customer experience and execution performance for a dedicated strategic account (>$100M annual revenue). This role owns the end-to-end post-order lifecycle, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all projects while driving customer satisfaction, schedule adherence and operational alignment. The Program Manager leads a team of Project Managers (PMs) and Project Engineers (PEs), serving as the primary escalation point and interface, and bridging alignment across sales, operations, engineering and manufacturing. The primary functions include ownership of the overall customer experience, leadership of project execution teams, and alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery performance.
In this function you will:
• Own the end-to-end post-order customer experience and serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues and executive engagement
• Maintain deep knowledge of all active projects, risks, execution details, and overall program performance across 25+ concurrent projects within a single account
• Drive customer satisfaction through escalation reduction, improved NPS, proactive risk management, and issue resolution
• Lead customer engagement cadence, including weekly operational reviews, monthly/quarterly business reviews, and executive-level program discussions
• Ensure alignment to OTD (On-Time Delivery), OTIF (On-Time In-Full), scope, quality, and execution expectations
• Support project managers while preserving project-level execution ownership and autonomy
• Directly lead, develop, coach, and retain project managers and project engineers
• Act as a matrix leader across sales, engineering, manufacturing, services, and supply chain teams, establishing accountability and execution rigor
• Bridge sales commitments with factory, supply chain, and project execution realities, operating with shared decision-making authority on execution tradeoffs
• Drive alignment across product lines, manufacturing, and field services while leading resolution of scope, schedule, and technical challenges
• Engage at project award to ensure execution readiness, identify risks early, and support successful transition to execution and scale
• Balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution leadership, driving continuous improvement, customer-specific process enhancements, and account growth through superior execution
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in project management, field execution or customer-facing roles in the electrical or data center industry
• Possess a valid driver's license
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Master's degree
• PMP certification
• 10 years of experience in field sales or marketing
• Experience with large-scale MTDC/data center projects (strongly preferred)
• People management experience
• Experience leading multi-site, multi-region project execution
• Experience managing high-revenue strategic accounts
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• Demonstrated leadership capability with ability to lead both directly and through influence across cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of sales and project management disciplines, including understanding of technical project changes and pricing negotiation
• Proven ability to drive financial improvements and customer satisfaction through effective execution and proactive issue resolution
• Ability to operate effectively at both the detailed execution level and strategic account level, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term objectives
• Strong customer-facing presence with executive-level communication skills and the ability to build, sustain and grow customer relationships
• Capability to continuously develop existing customer relationships while identifying and supporting opportunities for new relationship growth
• Ability to align cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and resolve conflicts across sales, operations, engineering & manufacturing
• Strong understanding of project execution dynamics within data center and electrical infrastructure environments, including schedule adherence (OTIF/OTD), risk management and execution quality
• Knowledge of Eaton products, services, markets, channels and competitors, with the ability to position value to customers
• Possesses strong presentation, training, planning and value-added selling skills to effectively support customer engagement and internal alignment
• Demonstrated proficiency with digital tools and systems, including the ability to drive adoption and implementation to enhance execution performance
• Ability to travel up to 25%

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $167,250 - $245,300.
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
