Job Summary
Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an experienced Corporate Recruiter to support Talent Acquisition efforts by sourcing, screening, and recruiting top talent for corporate positions. The recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and internal recruiters to manage the full recruitment lifecycle and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Create and post job advertisements on relevant platforms.
- Manage candidate records and recruiting activities within the ATS (Taleo).
- Submit qualified candidates to internal recruiters and hiring managers.
- Track sourcing efforts, interviews, and recruitment activities.
- Promote SCE's employer brand and career opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Prepare recruitment reports and metrics, including pipeline status and time-to-fill.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of corporate recruiting experience.
- Experience sourcing and recruiting candidates across multiple channels.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Taleo.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR or Recruiting certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or AIRS.
- Experience supporting high-volume corporate recruiting environments.
