As an Early Career Field Service Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work from C ranberry Township, PA, or one of our regional offices in Tinley Park, IL, Charlotte, NC, Warren, NJ, Houston, TX, or Riverside, CA. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting customer sites, commissioning advanced automation systems, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and helping bring critical infrastructure projects to life.

This is more than a traditional engineering role. You'll travel, solve problems in real time, work alongside experienced engineers, and see firsthand how your work helps deliver reliable power and clean water to communities across the country.

Through structured training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-leading technologies including virtualization, simulation, and remote support platforms, you'll build the skills and experience needed to launch a rewarding engineering career.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced automation and control systems at customer sites
  • Work directly with customers to troubleshoot technical challenges and deliver effective solutions
  • Learn industry-leading technologies through hands-on field experience and mentorship from experienced engineers
  • Assist with system testing, quality assurance activities, and performance evaluations
  • Provide on-site and remote support during project implementation and system upgrades
  • Participate in customer training sessions and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and customers to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop strong technical, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills through real-world experience
  • Contribute to the improvement of operational procedures, field documentation, and best practices
  • Build a deep understanding of critical infrastructure systems that support power generation and water treatment operations
