What is a Remote Strategic Partnership Manager?

A Remote Strategic Partnership Manager is a professional responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key business partners, clients, or stakeholders while working remotely. Their main goal is to identify mutually beneficial opportunities, negotiate agreements, and collaborate with internal and external teams to drive business growth. They often analyze market trends, develop partnership strategies, and ensure that partnerships align with the company’s overall objectives. Job description

Access Softek is seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to manage our established fintech partner ecosystem. This role is responsible for the day-to-day health of our partner relationships, internal team enablement, and the operational rhythm that keeps our new ecosystem running at full speed across 100+ credit union clients.

This position reports directly to the Head of Product and will operate with strong leadership support, executive oversight on strategic decisions, and access to an established industry network to draw on.

Responsibilities include:
Partner Relationship Management
  • Own the day-to-day relationships with assigned fintech and technology partners across the Access Digital ecosystem
  • Run bi-weekly/monthly partner calls, track action items, and keep communication consistent and productive
  • Monitor partner product updates, roadmap changes, and API or integration developments — surfacing what matters to our internal teams
  • Escalate strategically complex issues or major commercial decisions to leadership oversight

Sales & Account Management Enablement

  • Serve as the internal product expert for partner solutions — the go-to resource for Sales and Account Management teams
  • Support AMs in identifying cross-sell opportunities across the client base
  • Facilitate partner training sessions, onboarding materials, and lunch-and-learns for internal teams, and ensure new sales reporting to partners respectively
  • Contribute to the Partner Playbook and AM Rules of Engagement to keep field teams sharp, savvy, and confident

Commercial & Operational Support

  • Manage routine commercial tasks including pricing approvals, discount requests, contract renewals, and contract administrative items
  • Support renewal coordination and partner tier management within the Access Digital Partner Marketplace
  • Track partner performance metrics and flag trends to leadership
  • Coordinate and aid Product and Implementation on partner integration issues and any client-facing escalations
Partner Ecosystem Coverage:

This role will manage relationships across Access Digital’s established partner stack, including:

  • Payments: Bill pay, P2P, FedNow, RTP, and disbursements
  • Fraud & Risk: Biometric, OFAC/AML/KYC, and identity verification
  • Lending & Account Opening: Embedded lending and origination solutions
  • Cards & Card Services: Digital issuance, card management, and controls
  • Core Banking Integrations: Corelation, Jack Henry, FiServ, and other core partners
  • Member Engagement & Financial Wellness: Credit, financial health, growth, and personalization
  • Marketing & AI: Content management, business banking intelligence, conversational banking, video chat, and AI-assisted services (e.g., Uptiq, Glia)
  • Data & Compliance: Open banking and compliance infrastructure
What you bring:

We’re looking for someone hungry, organized, and relationship-oriented — early in their career but ready to own something real. You’ll have strong support and an established network to lean on. What you bring is the drive, the people skills, and the hustle to keep everything moving.

  • 3–6 years of experience in technology partnerships, fintech sales, SaaS, digital banking, or strategic account management
  • Comfortable in partner or client-facing conversations — professional, personable, prepared, and credible
  • Familiarity with credit unions, community banks, or financial technology a plus — not required
  • Organized self-starter who tracks their own commitments and follows through without being chased
  • Able to learn complex products quickly and explain them simply to sales and business audiences
  • Collaborative mindset — works well across Sales, AM, Product Development, and Implementation teams
  • Eager to grow commercially — exposure to contracts, negotiations, or pricing discussions a bonus
Success Metrics:
  • Partner and add-on sales growth and cross-sell performance
  • Consistency and quality of partner relationship touchpoints
  • Sales and AM team confidence and enablement effectiveness
  • Timely renewal coordination and Partner Marketplace tier management
  • Reduction in open partner issues and escalation response time
  • Partner satisfaction and executive relationship health
Compensation, benefits, and perks:
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilities insurance
  • Medical and dental insurance
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • Paid home internet
