Job description

About Vantage
Vantage is the FinOps platform built for modern engineering teams, trusted by thousands of organizations including Block, FanDuel, Vercel, Temporal, and CircleCI, to manage and optimize infrastructure costs across hyperscalers, cloud providers, and foundational models. We're passionate about building a cloud cost transparency platform that helps enable everyone, from developers to enterprises, analyze, report, collaborate on, and optimize their cloud spend. Together we are a high-output team of ~55 employees based in New York City with a remote-friendly culture.
Backed by $25M from Andreessen Horowitz and Scale Venture Partners, and prominent industry veterans: Matthew Prince (Co-Founder, Cloudflare), Calvin French Owen (Co-Founder, Segment), Ben and Moisey Uretsky (Co-Founders, DigitalOcean), Stephanie and Nat Friedman (CEO, Github), Julia Lipton, Brianne Kimmel and others.
About The Role
Vantage is hiring its first Product Marketer, a high-impact, highly visible role at a company that ships fast and frequently while continually delivering innovative, customer-driven features and capabilities.
Our ideal candidate is a high-agency, technically fluent Product Marketer ready to build the function end-to-end. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams, you'll lead the marketing side of Vantage's release process, shape positioning and messaging, drive adoption and pipeline, support analyst relations, and ensure our differentiated value shines in an accelerating market.
This is a rare and ideal environment for an ambitious Product Marketer who excels at crafting credible narratives for discerning, technical audiences and is genuinely energized by building from the ground up. You'll never wait around for something meaningful to launch, and you'll have direct access to a dream customer base of power users at transformative companies who are eager to engage, provide feedback, and champion our product.
What You Will Do
  • Shape how we communicate our differentiated value to a technical, discerning market and drive messaging and positioning across go-to-market channels and assets
  • Lead the marketing side of our product release process, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales & Customer Success to bring a high-velocity roadmap to market with impact
  • Define and drive go-to-market strategy for new features, capabilities, integrations, and partnerships, from narrative development through execution
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, turning it into positioning and assets that help Vantage win
  • Drive the development of content assets and sales enablement materials that accelerate pipeline and help advance each stage in the buyer journey
  • Interface directly with customers to deepen market understanding and turn their stories into compelling proof points
  • Support analyst relations, ensuring Vantage is well-represented and influential in the conversations that shape our category

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience for technical products and/or to technical audiences
  • Proven experience leading the go-to-market side of product launches from start to finish
  • Comfortable working directly with a wide range of stakeholders, from highly technical customers and engineers to GTM leadership and industry analysts
  • Exceptional understanding of go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and messaging, with a strong eye for market opportunities and the competitive landscape
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with demonstrated experience creating high-impact content and enablement assets that inspire action and fuel growth
  • High-agency and entrepreneurial; excited to build the function from the ground up
  • Experience balancing strategic vision and hands-on execution to drive measurable impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • A kind person
