Job Overview: Seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead an internal technology operations and support team. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT services across the organization while providing leadership for IT support, infrastructure, systems administration, and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong Systems Admin / Infrastructure background in a Microsoft Shop, and is a technical leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and partnering with business leaders to deliver effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities of the IT Manager:

    • Lead, coach, and develop the IT team.
    • Oversee daily IT operations, including help desk support, hardware, software, systems, and network management.
    • Ensure employees receive responsive and effective technical support.
    • Manage IT assets, hardware lifecycle, software licensing, and technology vendors.
    • Evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions that support business objectives.
    • Lead IT projects, upgrades, and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with business leaders to understand technology needs and prioritize initiatives.
    • Support information security, access management, and compliance requirements.
    • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
    • Communicate technical recommendations and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience of the IT Manager:
    • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, or related technology functions.
    • Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising technical teams (on-shore or off-shore)
    • Comfortable work with AI or Agentic platforms (Claude, Co-Pilot, Cursor)
    • Experience supporting business-critical technology environments.
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working within a Microsoft Shop, Microsoft 365 and cloud-based business applications.
    • Experience with Azure, Entra ID, VMware, InTune, Active Directory, Group Policy, backups, remote monitoring tools.

Bonus Experience of the IT Manager:
