Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and create treatment plans tailored to each client, ensuring they meet individual needs and goals.
• Carry out consultations for developing pre-crisis and crisis management plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment strategies in conjunction with clinical teams.
• Complete necessary documentation punctually, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies to inform treatment decisions and monitor client progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans designed to promote client success.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Serve as a conduit between clients and external service systems, state entities, and community partners.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to meet program objectives and enhance community outreach.
• Develop and explore partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations to secure resources and support for our programs.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through conferences, trainings, and participation in relevant task forces and committees.
• Promote the core mission and values of the organization in all interactions and duties.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support team objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse client base, including individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use issues, and those requiring support due to developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required, with a strong emphasis on mental health counseling principles.
• A valid independent LMHC license from the state board is mandatory for this position.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective idea dissemination and client engagement.
• Capability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions based on specialized knowledge.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health or rehabilitation setting is preferred, providing insights into the complexities of mental health support.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and screening tools pertinent to mental health counseling.
• Prior involvement in program development or community outreach initiatives is a strong asset.
