You will collaborate with various healthcare professionals through digital platforms to ensure that communication remains transparent and effective. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate comprehensive treatment and discharge plans, utilizing psychosocial assessments and accepted social work interventions tailored to each individual client’s needs.
• Conduct initial assessments and provide ongoing interventions, ensuring that accurate and timely records, including clinical notes and progress updates, are maintained according to department policies.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and counseling to patients grappling with emotional and behavioral challenges, guiding them through pathways of healing and resilience.
• Actively consult with clients’ families and supportive systems to align on treatment objectives and discharge planning, facilitating a comprehensive support network.
• Engage in continual professional development to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in social work and substance use recovery.

As a Senior LICSW at our Detox Center, you will primarily work with individuals facing the challenges of substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health issues. Our client population is diverse, comprising individuals of various backgrounds, ages, and life experiences. This role requires a strong commitment to providing empathetic and culturally-responsive care while advocating for accessibility and equity in treatment options. Your contributions will significantly impact their recovery journey, enhancing their quality of life and reintegration into society.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in clinical social work, preferably within a detox or behavioral health setting.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records, word processing, and data management software.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to navigate dynamic situations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working in remote settings and familiarity with virtual counseling methodologies.
• Exposure to trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based interventions relevant to addiction and mental health.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a compassionate approach toward clients.
