Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments and provide ongoing interventions, ensuring that accurate and timely records, including clinical notes and progress updates, are maintained according to department policies.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and counseling to patients grappling with emotional and behavioral challenges, guiding them through pathways of healing and resilience.
  • Actively consult with clientsโ€™ families and supportive systems to align on treatment objectives and discharge planning, facilitating a comprehensive support network.
  • Engage in continual professional development to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in social work and substance use recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior LICSW at our Detox Center, you will primarily work with individuals facing the challenges of substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health issues. This role requires a strong commitment to providing empathetic and culturally-responsive care while advocating for accessibility and equity in treatment options. Qualifications
