NewBetterYou Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. This remote position requires a compassionate and skilled professional to deliver high-quality therapeutic services, including psychotherapy, psychoeducational and process groups, family therapy, and medication management, to adolescents and their families within a detox setting. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while still engaging with a passionate team of professionals. As an integral member of the detox center, you will coordinate with Reentry Social Workers, treatment providers, and other partners to ensure comprehensive continuity of care for our clients. This remote setup is designed to foster teamwork and collaboration, utilizing digital communication tools and telehealth platforms to ensure seamless interactions.

• Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers to develop effective discharge planning services that support clients’ transitions out of the detox program.
• Complete accurate and timely statistical reports that contribute to ongoing program evaluation and improvement.
• Work closely with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to our patients, housing arrangements, and treatment placements.
• Lead, plan, and develop group treatment sessions in mental health observation units, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision with the Clinical Supervisor to enhance your professional development and quality of service provided.
• Participate in mental health and medical rounds as assigned, contributing valuable insights regarding patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Attend case conferences and treatment planning sessions to discuss cases and strategize effectively for clients receiving mental health treatment.
• Conduct psychological assessments and may supervise social work interns or volunteer students as necessary, fostering new talent in the field.
• Perform mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and continuous assessments, ensuring comprehensive follow-up care for all clients.
• Determine the most appropriate disposition of patients to ensure they receive optimal levels of mental health care.

In this role, you will be primarily working with children and adolescents experiencing various mental health issues, particularly those concurrent with substance use disorders. Your understanding and experience with this demographic are vital as you will play a key role in their recovery journey. With a focus on developing rapport and trust, your therapeutic strategies will empower clients to work toward healthier lifestyles and improved mental well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• Must possess current licensure, or be eligible for licensure, to practice as a therapist in the state of California.
• Independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Exceptional clinical skills with the capacity to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, utilizing training and education to enhance service delivery.

• Prior experience working with children and adolescents in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in psychotherapy and group therapy modalities.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually for this full-time position, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
