This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients via telehealth services. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and substance use history, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to the needs of each client.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any adjustments needed, adhering to best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote peer support and engagement among clients, focusing on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in clinical social work practices, mental health regulations, and to continually enhance personal and professional growth.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Reaching Beyond Limits, you will primarily work with a diverse client population navigating the complexities of addiction and mental health disorders. Your role is crucial in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients seeking recovery, allowing them to express their experiences and challenges effectively. Many clients will present co-occurring disorders, requiring an integrated approach to treatment that addresses both behavioral and emotional health.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW license with the ability to practice in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
• Demonstrable skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and effective communication with clients and team members.

While not required, experience working in detox or addiction treatment environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), will be beneficial for engaging and empowering clients effectively. Additional training or certification in substance use counseling is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
