Job description

Excellent opportunity for an outgoing and detail oriented individual to work in the UJA Trust Advocacy Program as a highly skilled advocate. Responsibilities include providing case management for individuals with Developmental and or Mental Illness as well as Geriatric population. Home visits & phone consultations as well as managing a caseload of client trust accounts which include processing of bills to insure Medicaid compliance and accuracy. Successful applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with computers and numbers. Masterโ€™s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required. Relevant experience with MI & DD preferred. Training and other educational opportunities will be provided. Exciting team meetings held on a regular basis in addition to supervision. This full time position is located in our Far Rockaway, or Brooklyn location, but is often remote, with a lot of travel required within New York City and the surrounding areas. Must have a valid NY or NJ Driver's license, own car a plus.

Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan with employee contribution, sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and for full time employees, health insurance. Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements.
