Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing therapists to conduct sessions through our secure telehealth platform. Our flexible scheduling includes a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments based on patient needs. You will engage with a diverse clientele from the comfort of your own home, equipped with the tools necessary to provide exceptional care. Your telehealth sessions will be supported by state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring that you can document and access patient information efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs, developing individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions for individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues and fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment outcomes for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, responding promptly to mental health emergencies and offering support to those in distress.
• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions, viable treatment options, and available community and organizational resources for ongoing support.
• Ensure accurate and confidential record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, maintaining high-quality documentation of therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities for continuous learning and growth in your field.
• Stay informed about the latest research, methodologies, and trends in mental health therapy to enhance the effectiveness of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will primarily work with diverse clients facing various mental health conditions. Our patient population includes young adults, families, and individuals from different cultural backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. Your role will involve tailoring approaches that resonate with the specific needs of each individual, ensuring culturally competent and personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and demonstrated competence in implementing both standard and innovative evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele, adapting methods to suit various therapeutic needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills that foster a strong therapeutic alliance and trust with clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to maintaining accurate, confidential documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team, contributing positively to the practice's mission and patient care strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience working in telehealth or remote service delivery settings.
• Proficiency in additional therapeutic modalities or specialized restriction areas may be advantageous.
• Developed network for referrals and community resources for patient support.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We provide a competitive benefits package that includes:
