  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, employing advanced de-escalation and intervention techniques.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health concerns, therapeutic options, and available community resources, fostering a proactive approach to wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing cultural competency training.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and cultural influences in the mental health field to enhance service delivery and professional growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is diverse, and as a therapist, you will work with individuals from various backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and patients from immigrant backgrounds. Your expertise will be critical in tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering resilience and promoting overall mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • A valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders along with proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods and cultural competence.
  • Exceptional skills in crisis intervention and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to foster trust and rapport with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications to manage patient information effectively.
  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards, including patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage in constructive feedback and professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role.
  • Prior experience delivering culturally responsive therapy to diverse populations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy tools to aid in remote service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) including holiday pay.
