Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing secure and compliant technology to ensure client privacy and safety.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns, crafting tailored treatment plans that outline measurable objectives.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues, ensuring that interventions are aligned with best practices.
• Provide immediate support in crisis situations, assessing risks and intervening as necessary to guarantee client safety and appropriate follow-up services.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, outlining progress notes and treatment modifications in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients about their mental health, offering resources and coping strategies designed to empower them towards self-management and recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, community resources, and interdisciplinary teams to promote holistic client care and ensure continuity of services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with advancements in mental health counseling methodologies and participating in relevant training sessions.

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and more. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field.
• At least two years of clinical experience in counseling settings, preferably with remote service delivery.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and demonstrating strong technical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating strong therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a remote team, adapting to varying client demands and schedules.
• Willingness to be flexible with working hours to accommodate clients' needs, fostering availability and responsiveness.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with virtual counseling methods and teletherapy best practices.
• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic approaches and modalities customized to various client demographics.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention and management, with an emphasis on immediate problem-solving.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside a sign-on bonus as an added incentive.
