We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate full-time Mental Health Therapists to join the esteemed team at Kids Peace Wellness Center. This remote position allows mental health professionals to deliver exceptional therapeutic services from the comfort of their homes, while also connecting with clients in an outreach capacity in our outpatient office located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Our therapists play a pivotal role in assisting clients in overcoming mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression, fundamentally contributing to their overall well-being and personal growth.

The position is primarily remote, but our therapists may occasionally engage with clients and collaborate with our therapeutically driven teams in a supportive outpatient office setting. Our flexible workspace acknowledges the diverse needs of our clients while allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the understanding that our therapists may need to adapt their schedules based on the treatment requirements of their clients.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments with the use of evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans designed to meet each client's unique mental health needs.
• Implement an array of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized methodologies tailored to the client's progress.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, promoting the highest standards of care and privacy.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to provide informed and cohesive care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to elevate care quality and share insights for professional development.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with advancements in mental health practices and research.

Our mental health therapists serve a diverse outpatient client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges. The role requires a sensitivity to the particular needs of individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depressive disorders, all demanding a tailored, empathetic approach that fosters trust and healing.

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active and relevant state license to practice, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques designed to cater to the specific therapeutic needs of clients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enhance relationships between clients, their families, and treatment team members.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex therapeutic situations effectively.
• A commitment to collaborative practice within a supportive team environment that values contributions and shared success.

While the minimum qualification is a bachelor's degree, we prefer candidates with advanced degrees along with clinical experience utilizing interventions such as CBT and DBT in a variety of settings. A background in working with children and families is particularly valuable given our focus on empowering the younger generation while providing support to their families.
