Job Responsibilities
  • Assist student within the school setting-behaviorally, emotionally and academically
  • Assist students with assignments and activities as provided by the teacher(s)
  • Provide assistance and targeted support, without distraction
  • Actively supervise when not in an academic setting (break, recess, bussing)
  • Enforce school wide expectations
  • Be a smiling face and a positive interaction for our students
  • Be a team player
  • Cleaning of classroom surfaces/toys
  • Refer to student plans to best assist students and understand their needs
  • Communicate with teachers about the specifics of the students you are working with
  • Report student safety concerns
  • Carry out miscellaneous support tasks as assigned
