What we need
We are seeking a Security Systems Manager to own and lead all enterprise physical security technologies, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and system integrations.
This role is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of a standardized, scalable, and resilient security ecosystem aligned with business operations.
As the technical authority, you will drive system architecture, performance, project delivery, and the long-term technology roadmap across a multi-site network, while serving as the key liaison between Security, IT, Facilities, Operations, and external partners.

Exol* is pioneering warehousing-as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations, and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as wholesale, retail, and general merchandising.

What you'll do
  • Own enterprise physical security systems (ACS, VMS, IDS, biometrics, etc.), ensuring standardization, reliability, and performance across all sites.
  • Design and manage system architecture & integrations across network, cloud/on-prem infrastructure, and enterprise platforms (e.g., HRIS, SSO, operational systems) in alignment with IT and cybersecurity standards.
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for security technology deployments, including design, vendor oversight, implementation, and commissioning for new and existing sites.
  • Drive system performance and continuous improvement by optimizing uptime, automation, analytics, and user workflows; troubleshoot complex issues and track key KPIs.
  • Provide advanced support and incident response, coordinating with vendors and participating in on-call coverage as needed.
  • Develop the security technology roadmap, evaluating and implementing emerging solutions (e.g., AI, advanced access control, automation).
  • Manage vendors and stakeholders, including integrators and internal partners (Security, IT, Facilities, Operations), and support procurement and RFP processes.
  • Ensure governance and compliance, maintaining documentation and aligning systems with regulatory standards and cybersecurity best practices.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Security Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in physical security systems, IT infrastructure, or integrated technology environments.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level security systems across multiple sites.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Access control and video management platforms (e.g., Genetec or similar)
    • IP-based camera systems and video storage architectures
    • Intrusion detection and alarm monitoring systems
    • Automation and robotic solutions
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing)
    • Server environments (Windows/Linux, virtualization)
    • System integrations (APIs, RTSP, middleware)
  • Experience with identity systems and integrations (SSO, HRIS) preferred.

Our Environment
  • Up to 40% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Participation in on-call rotation for critical system support.
