Litigation Administrative Assistant (Contract)
Location: California (Remote)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM PST
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour (DOE)

About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking two experienced Litigation Administrative Assistants to support a busy toxic tort/silicosis litigation team. This remote opportunity is ideal for a highly organized legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide exceptional administrative and litigation support while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials
  • Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate deadlines
  • Support California state and federal court filings, including e-filing and File & Serve procedures
  • Assist with client billing, invoicing, and time entry
  • Coordinate new client and matter openings
  • Monitor and maintain litigation deadlines in compliance with California court rules
  • Manage documents and electronic files within firm systems
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and litigation teams as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent litigation administrative assistant experience
  • Required experience with Silicosis and Toxic Tort
  • Strong knowledge of California court procedures and rules
  • Experience with e-filing and File & Serve platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting toxic tort, mass tort, defense litigation, or complex civil litigation matters
  • Experience with document management systems, docketing software, billing systems, and time-entry platforms
  • College degree preferred
  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
Compensation Disclosure
In compliance with California pay transparency requirements, the anticipated compensation range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
