You will be an integral part of our mission to promote wellness and resilience within the maternal health sphere, guiding clients through their journeys towards recovery.

About the Organization

Maternal Postpartum Mental Support, Inc. is a leading provider of mental health services focused exclusively on the unique challenges faced by mothers and their families during the postpartum period. With a compassionate and results-driven approach, we are committed to elevating mental health standards and ensuring that every client receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs. Our organization prides itself on its collaborative and inclusive culture, fostering a supportive environment that values diverse perspectives and experiences.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be remote, allowing you to provide valuable mental health support from the comfort of your own space while minimizing commute times and work-life balancing challenges. You will have access to ongoing training and resources online, empowering you to maximize your clinical skills and stay connected with a dedicated team of professionals passionately focused on improving maternal mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the unique mental health needs of clients and determine appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Create individualized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s goals, adapting them as necessary based on ongoing evaluation.
  • Engage in therapeutic sessions with clients, utilizing a range of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to address mental health concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, utilizing our electronic health record systems to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and other therapists, to provide comprehensive care and ensure cohesive support for clients.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on supporting mothers experiencing postpartum mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. You will be working with diverse clients, from new mothers seeking support in managing their mental wellness to families navigating the complexities of maternal health. Your role will be critical in helping clients develop coping strategies, achieve personal growth, and foster healthier relationships with their children and partners.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Current licensure in the state of Nevada as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct therapeutic experience, particularly working with maternal populations or in outpatient settings is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Experience with evidence-based treatments and a robust understanding of the unique challenges faced during the postpartum period will set candidates apart. A willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also having the initiative to work independently is essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $80,000 and $104,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive benefits that encompass health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as flexible scheduling options, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.
