Position Overview:
Each year CECP hires a summer intern generously funded by our our former board chairs company, ConantLeadership. This summer, we are seeking an intern to support the Corporate Insights & Research team in its annual efforts to provide research and insights to corporate social impact professionals. The CIR team utilizes PowerBI, proprietary survey tools, Salesforce, and secondary research to bring tailored insights to affiliates. This internship will support our team on annual research projects and plans, Insights requests, and PowerBI updating and maintenance tasks. The CIR team also fields an annual survey, Giving in Numbers, to companies $2 billion and above in revenue. The intern will report to the Manager of Corporate Insights & Research on tasks related to the cleaning, analysis, and storage of this data set. Additional responsibilities will be to build out a PowerBI dashboard template based on the data.
Responsibilities:
The Corporate Insights & Research intern will:
  • Collaborate closely with the manager of research on proprietary data set and data collection and visualization tool(s)
  • Assist the Insights team in the completion of company requests, including data analysis and secondary research
  • Assist in updating and creating dashboards within PowerBI

This role is for you if you have:
  • Demonstrated technical experience in data analysis; PowerBI preferred
  • Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce preferred
  • Strong communication and writing skills, and ability to work independently
  • Classwork or an advanced degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, public policy, public administration or similar
  • A high degree of initiative, motivation, and commitment to excellence
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in advancing CECP's mission.

Location:
  • This position is fully remote, but you must be a US Citizen currently living in the United States throughout the duration of the internship.
Duration:
  • This role will run from June 2026 through August 2026
  • 15-20 hours per week
  • Estimated start date as soon as possible
Compensation:
A stipend of $20.00/hour is offered to interns.
