Job description

Mindex is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our team supporting the full software development lifecycle for enterprise clients. In this role, you'll build and maintain custom Salesforce applications, design complex business processes, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions - all while helping us continue to modernize and expand our Salesforce environment.

Compensation

$90,000 - $140,000
What You'll Accomplish

  • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Design and implement complex business processes using Salesforce workflows, process builder, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform data migrations and integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed across all development activities.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce features and technologies to continuously improve our Salesforce environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Apex development.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including Flow automation, opportunity management, and case management.
  • Experience enhancing and supporting existing Salesforce environments, including customizations, integrations, and established business processes.
  • Ability to work effectively within legacy Salesforce architectures, including older Apex code, workflow rules, and non-standard automation patterns while modernizing solutions without disrupting operations.
  • Proficiency with Aura, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading, mentoring, and coaching developers.
  • Experience with Agentforce.
  • Experience balancing declarative (clicks) solutions with custom development.
  • Salesforce Developer certification.
  • Experience reducing technical debt and modernizing legacy Salesforce environments.
