Job Description:
The client requires the services of a Senior Salesforce Engineer to support major enhancement and support efforts across the portfolio applications like client.
The client is seeking a contract Salesforce Solution Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for Child welfare program applications. This role supports mission-critical public-sector programs across case management, licensing, service operations, and related workflows. The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best-fit approaches.
  • Design and engineering: Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies.
  • Development: Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance.
  • Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts. Assessing platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.
  • AI-enablement: Apply AI-driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
