Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Salesforce Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, Manage and Execute Salesforce deployments across development, QA, UAT, staging, and production environments
* Maintain and Support Git-based version control, including branching and merging
* Conduct peer reviews of Salesforce metadata changes and pull requests to ensure quality and standards
* Validate Apex tests, code coverage, and deployment readiness
* Troubleshoot deployment failures, metadata conflicts, and environment differences
* Support sandbox refreshes, environment alignment, and data preparation
* Collaborate with developers, admins, QA, and release teams to coordinate and plan deployments
* Document deployment procedures, release steps, and environment configurations
* Ensure release activities follow internal controls and audit requirements
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce metadata (Apex, LWC, Flows, Custom Objects, Permission Sets)
* Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes and release management practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Up to 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Salesforce deployment roles.
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce metadata (Apex, LWC, Flows, Custom Objects, Permission Sets)
* Practical knowledge and experience of Salesforce developments and deployments
* Practical experience using Git for version control
* Experience performing peer reviews within a development or release workflow
* Ability to diagnose and resolve test coverage issues, deployment and metadata issues
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Flosum (deployments, pipelines, org comparisons)
* Exposure to code quality tools (PMD, ESLint, SonarQube)
* Experience with CRM Analytics development/deployment is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
