Job description

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: McKinney, TX (Onsite 3 days per week)
Contract: 12 Months (W2 Employees Only)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic Salesforce Platform Development team. This is a hands-on contract role that will play a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions while ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems.
This is a contract opportunity based in McKinney, TX, with the requirement to be onsite 3 days a week. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
Perform demos to showcase product functionality and progress to stakeholders.
Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Ensure the development of high-quality systems with an emphasis on reliability, security, scalability, and auditability.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other Salesforce team members, participating in code reviews and requirement analysis.
Collaborate with the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) and leadership to drive continuous improvement in platform practices.
Assist with roadmap planning and enterprise-level architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of professional experience in IT, with 3+ years of Salesforce development expertise (SOQL/SOSL, jQuery, APEX, Visualforce).
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Lightning and APEX development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented application architectures and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
Proven experience with Salesforce development best practices and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including tools like Salesforce DX.
Strong communication skills, able to work both independently and within a team to build consensus and mentor fellow developers.
Experience with integration patterns including SOAP/REST web services, APIs, batch processes, and middleware.
Understanding of security best practices (authentication, SSL, SSO, etc.).
Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
Familiarity with mass data integration/handling tools like Informatica is a plus.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Salesforce certifications are highly preferred, including:
