Job description

Title: Regional Vice President of Sales
Location: Remote, must be located in US

Summary:
As a Regional Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for actively identifying opportunities to support & maximize the effectiveness of activities designed to improve sales performance. The director will partner with property & corporate team members to support all brands with performance opportunities to provide impactful and measurable strategies that achieve Arbor's Key Performance Indicators. Additionally, you will influence, support, and deliver customized support to identified hotels with an opportunity to grow and improve performance across the portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a vast understanding of key hospitality industry performance measures by analyzing and identifying performance trends.
  • Collaborate with property & corporate leadership team to proactively find opportunities and deploy customized turn around strategies/resources that deliver results.
  • Oversee and remotely manage sales efforts for multiple properties to ensure maximum revenue, promotional coverage and marketing initiatives are achieved.
  • Works closely with revenue management, general managers and existing sales associate(s), to develop strategies to maximize RevPAR and grow market share.
  • Maintain and promote teamwork with effective and clear communication with existing property leaders and sales associate(s).
  • Deliver engaging virtual 1:1 and group support on a variety of topics that align with business trends and integrated Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop content that is relevant, consistent, and performance-based to be delivered in consultations virtually and onsite.
  • Assist with providing reporting and important information for use by property & corporate leadership team on an established cadence to measure effectiveness/impact of strategic support offered to identified markets and hotels.
  • Participate in relevant workgroups to share ideas from property teams to influence future portfolio enhancements and offer guidance with operationalizing Arbor initiatives and supporting innovation across the organization.
  • Evaluate and drive the various hotel's participation in sales channels, market sales, event booking centers, electronic lead channels, etc.
  • Develop current sales associate(s) to reach their individual potential.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must know advanced sales processes as well as leading for results
  • Multi-brand sales experience and knowledge required
  • Knowledge of advanced sales strategies, yield management, and relationship building/maintenance
  • High degree of commercial awareness
  • Outstanding business sense and the ability to motivate property sales leaders
  • 5+ years in a senior sales role with strong multi-unit experience
  • Outstanding business sense and the ability to motivate and win others over (WOO)
  • Travel required up to 70%
  • Must have proximity to a major airport
  • Ability to operate in multiple time zones

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
