Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while serving individuals in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients to determine their mental health status and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored specifically to each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, offering guidance and coping strategies to empower clients in overcoming their challenges.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care for clients requiring multidisciplinary approaches.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, ensuring safety and access to immediate support when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve adult clients, each presenting with a range of mental health conditions. A significant portion of your responsibilities will include providing care to individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, depressive moods, trauma, and substance abuse—populations that often benefit from tailored therapeutic frameworks and cultural competence. As you build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, you will apply inclusive practices to meet their individual needs effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the state of Nevada as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in the mental health field, with demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with and motivate clients from a variety of backgrounds.
• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions, using culturally responsive approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and track treatment progress.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling best practices.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development and continuing education in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
