Safety Manager Needed ASAP, Reno, NV

Interim Contract | Weekly Pay | Data Center + Commercial Concrete Projects

Sheakley is seeking an experienced Safety Manager for an immediate interim contract opportunity in Reno, NV. This role will support multiple commercial and industrial concrete construction projects throughout the Reno market, with a strong focus on large-scale slab and data center work, primarily at Switch Data Center sites.

This is a field-heavy role ideal for a safety professional who is comfortable moving between active job sites, maintaining strong visibility in the field, and working directly with superintendents, crews, and project leadership to keep safety standards consistent.

Pay Rate: $50 to $55 per hour
Per Diem: $150 per day

Project Scope

The Safety Manager will support active commercial and industrial concrete projects involving:

  • Large-scale slab construction

  • Data center construction environments

  • Forming, finishing, and concrete placement

  • Tilt-up and cast-in-place concrete work

  • High-performance slab activities

  • Multi-site safety oversight across the Reno market

The Safety Manager will work alongside another safety professional and will be expected to maintain a strong field presence, conduct routine inspections, complete safety walks, support audits, and identify hazards in real time.

This role requires someone who can enforce established SOPs, communicate clearly with field leadership, and take immediate action when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine site walks, audits, and safety inspections

  • Maintain active field visibility across multiple job sites

  • Monitor crews, equipment, and high-risk concrete construction activities

  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions quickly

  • Enforce established SOPs, safety policies, and site protocols
