Tedesco Pacific Construction, INC. is a leader in the construction industry, committed to excellence, innovation, and safety. We are seeking a highly experienced and credentialed Safety Manager to join our team to oversee and enhance our safety program across all job sites.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Job site's in Northern Nevada and Northern California.
Job Description:
The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. This role involves conducting daily site walks, audits, and safety inspections across various field locations. Responsibilities and tasks may vary throughout the season.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily site walks, safety audits and field inspections to identify and address potential hazards
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of OSHA regulations and ensure compliance across all projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and field staff to promote a culture of safety
  • Training, teaching, planning and implementing safety policies
Requirements
Working Conditions
One of the following
  • Degreed safety professional with 10 years of continuous safety experience in construction
  • 10 years full-time construction safety experience and OSHA 500 certification
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) listed with the Board of Certified Safety
  • Bilingual fluent in English and Spanish
  • Construction Health amp; Safety Technician (CHST) listed with the Board of Certified Safety or equivalent and 5 years of safety experience
