Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee field safety programs across multiple commercial concrete job sites. This role is responsible for driving safety excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily site walks, field audits, and safety inspections across active projects
Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies and procedures
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (including OSHA)
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA standards and industry best practices
Execute and monitor site-specific safety plans
Lead accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and risk assessments
Develop and deliver safety training programs for field teams
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to promote a proactive safety culture
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of safety metrics
Qualifications
10+ years of continuous construction safety experience
Extensive experience in commercial construction (concrete experience strongly preferred)
OSHA 500 Certification required
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred
Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and industry standards
