What You Will Do:
As the SaaS Technology Manager, you'll own the full product lifecycle, from vision to delivery, for Retensa's SaaS platforms. You'll be the bridge between client needs, business goals, and technical execution, ensuring our products deliver value, scale effectively, and remain competitive.
  1. Lead Product Strategy: Contribute to product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  2. Drive Execution: Translate requirements into clear functional specs, user stories, and sprint deliverables to guide development plans.
  3. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and client success teams to deliver high-impact features on schedule.
  4. Champion Client Needs: Interact with Client Support to gather user feedback, analyze product usage data, and integrate insights to inform product priorities and improvements.
  5. Innovate: Monitor evolving industry trends and shifts to innovate solutions for competitive advantage
  6. Optimize Product Performance: Track and analyze key product success metrics to ensure adoption, satisfaction, and overall business impact.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a SaaS or cloud-based Web application development team
  • Proven track record bringing innovation to on-demand SaaS software
  • Strong ability to source and prioritize needs from internal and external stakeholders
  • Interest in helping companies create workplaces that engage, inspire, and retain employees
  • Ready to take the lead and bring their ideas forward
  • BA/BS required in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, MIS, or similar
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and integration frameworks
  • Hands-on knowledge of modern SaaS architecture (microservices, APIs, cloud hosting, CI/CD)
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, authentications systems (OAuth, SAML) and automation tools

Nice to have:
  • Formal Agile training
  • PMI (or similar) certification
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent certification
  • Background in programming, UI/UX, or QA experience
  • Experience with Jira or similar online task tracking experience
  • Experience managing remote and part-time employees

Time: Full time, HQ'd in New York City
