Job Summary
ActiveProspect is seeking a Senior Project Manager for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving enterprise business systems and integrations. This role partners with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to plan and deliver high-impact projects that improve operational efficiency and support strategic business objectives. The Senior Project Manager provides strong execution leadership, ensures alignment across stakeholders, manages risk and dependencies, and drives successful delivery of large-scale systems implementations and transformations.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional IT business systems initiatives
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
  • Drive execution across multiple workstreams, teams, and vendors
  • Manage scope, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively escalate and mitigate
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Coordinate vendor and implementation partner deliverables and timelines
  • Facilitate alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting and executive-level communications
  • Support change management, testing coordination, and go-live readiness
  • Establish and enforce project governance, standards, and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvements in delivery processes and tools

Qualifications and Skills
  • 8+ years of project or program management experience, with a focus on IT business systems
  • Proven experience leading large, enterprise-scale, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (ERP, billing, payments, CRM, integrations)
  • Experience managing external vendors and system implementation partners
  • Demonstrated experience integrating acquired companies into core business systems following M&A activity
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologies
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred
  • SaaS or high-growth technology environment experience preferred
